CUSTOM SERVICES TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. Our Experience
    Our team of handcrafters have varying levels of experience, up to 20 years, including over a decade of experience making custom products.

    We expect our work to not only be to a professional standard, but also of high quality.  In our disposable society, we like to make beautiful, sustainable products that will last for as long as possible, and bring you great satisfaction.

     

  2. Accepting or Refusing Custom Orders
    Custom orders may be accepted or refused at our own discretion.

     

    We are a small home business and limited by time, ability, and resources, and on rare occasions may need to cancel an order due to those limitations.  However, our customers are our priority, so we will always do our best to help you in whatever way we can.
     
  3. Pricing
    We believe the prices we set are fair, not only for us, but also for you, our customer.  Just because we work from home doesn't mean everything is going to be cheaper than can be found in ordinary stores, or even comparably priced to mass-produced products.  Keep in mind, we're not running a sweat shop, and we do need to earn something from the work we do - but be assured that our goal is to make a living, not to make our millions. 

     

  4. Custom Order Details
    For custom orders, alterations or repairs, if you, the customer, give us misleading or incorrect information, resulting in an undesirable outcome, we hold no responsibility or liability.
     

  5. Delivery
    Due to the unpredictability and unreliability of mail and courier services at times, we allow 14 days for delivery, however, we hope you recieve your order well before then!

    If your order is delivered by mail, we hold no responsibility for damage, loss, or delays after it has been given to a courier or lodged at the Post Office.  If you require insurance, we are happy to comply at your cost.
     

  6. Time
    Custom orders, alterations and repairs are unique in each situation, and may require varying time frames for completion, depending on multiple factors. We always do our best to quote an appropriate time frame for the order, but occasionally jobs may take longer than expected. In that case, we will always inform you as soon as possible.
     

  7. Payments and Refunds
    Whether we require a deposit, partial prepayment, or full payment before commencing work on your order is up to our discretion, depending on the size of your order, the materials required, and the expenses involved.  You will be fully informed of payment terms when we send your quote.

    You may cancel your order anytime during communications prior to commencement of production without any monetary cost to you.

    Should you choose to cancel your order after commencement of production, having already made a deposit or prepayment, you will not receive a full refund if we have purchased specialised materials for your order, and are unable to return those materials for any reason.  However, you may receive a partial refund if your item is saleable on our website or those materials are useable for other orders (at our discretion).  In these matters, our decision is final, and you acknowledge this by accepting your quote.
